If years of Nintendo have taught me anything, it's that there's a red spot somewhere you have to hit a bunch of times to beat 'em.
Read MoreHave you ever heard of David Farrow? Probably not. Who is he? Well, let’s start with who he was: a dyslexic young kid with Attention Deficit Disorder. What does this have to do with the Sony Reader? Well, it seems that Farrow has long since overcome these challenges and become a World-renowned speed reader, as well as a Guinness World Record holder for memory. That is part 1.
Part 2 starts with the designation of October as the Sony Electronics “Reader Revolution.” This brand new program is designed to, “combat a nationwide decline in reading, particularly among young people.”
In order to raise awareness and help celebrate the Sony Electronics Reader Revolution, Farrow is going to spend 30 days (720 hours) living in this storefront window, reading books on his Sony Reader (and boy am I jealous). For every page he turns, Sony will give an eBook library of 100 classic titles to a U.S. school.

Imagine participating in a chat about the Presidential Debate, or any other live event, and the chat being superimposed on top of your TV. Sure, it’s been done before, but that’s been controlled by the media. This is outside of whatever the news outlets will do, and it is provided on your Neuros OSD by a piece of software which runs on the OSD and was created by the community.

USBFever sent me their new iPhone 3G extended battery pack for review. I have been learning to manage the battery power on my iPhone 3G by charging whenever I’m within easy reach of a power source. However there are times when I’m traveling where it is not convenient to reach a power source and an extra three hours of power time can be a lifesaver.
@Yankees368: Most stations have taken down their prices and only have gas sporadically. My husband spotted a station on his way to the subway last week that had gas, so he called me and I hightailed it down there before a line started to build. Fortunately, we only fill our car up every 3-4 weeks, so we hope we can wait it out.
There are lines going out of the stations and down the street, blocking traffic. If your car requires premium gas, you may be out of luck. A friend of mine gave up on finding premium after a few days and went with regular instead.

Read MoreRCN was always difficult to contact. They only had 1 readily available phone number and it instantly put you on hold. Then you might get to talk to a person if you were lucky. But yes, there were times where I was left on hold forever and hung up. I never waited longer than half an hour.
Now I have Time Warner and DirecTV...yeah, they're just as bad.

I am a GPS nut, and I have been since I won my first one, a Garmin GPS-12 at the Dayton Hamvention as a door prize. That Garmin had no maps in it, but fortunately it’s almost unheard of to not have included maps on a GPS unit these days. So what makes the Nextar I4-BC special? Let’s find out.

I really have to appreciate the fact that Wells Fargo doesn't allow their customers to make "stupid" serious financial moves. Notice they're the only big banking entity in the US that isn't getting spanked? It's a bitch to get credit from them, because they won't lend unless they believe you can pay it back. The only exceptions I've seen with them is when an individual there doesn't have your best interests in mind - and those people don't last long with the company. I read a news article recently that informed of a university study done on online banking security, and they were the only ones to be given a grade of "comprehensive". I've had most of my money there for 20 years now, and I'll admit that some of their fees are a little high, but that's what you pay for full service - and I've never had a surprise fee that wasn't dealt with appropriately. And yeah, I bitched about the security questions too - really, how far do you really need to go to ID someone. On the other hand, I'll gladly deal with a little more security (though frustrating sometimes) to make sure my money stays where I put it.

If a scale is under weighing by 5 lbs., and I have, say, 2.3 lbs of bananas, doesn't this mean that my bananas would have less than zero weight, and would, therefore, be FREE?
Wal*Mart didn't notice they were giving away produce?
Unpossible.

Aww, I thought this was some sort of "Octo-Camo" sort of deal. I don't hunt and I'd never hunt, but I'd want something like what I thought it was for a reason that most people would approve of nonetheless. >;)
